How do I Find Magazine/Journal/Newspaper Articles?                      Back

You may use the online catalog to find out if we carry certain magazines, journals or newspaper by searching the title or ISSN number.  However, the Library Online Catalog does not include individual articles on the magazines, journals, or newspapers  You should use Library Databases.  Most databases are available remotely for card holders.  You must have a valid library card with no more than $5 in fines.
  • Go to Library home page at http://www.roundrocktexas.gov/library
  • Click on "Databases and Web Sites" on the left.
  • Scroll down a little if needed, select a subject to pick a database if you don't have a particular database to use.
  • Click on the title of the database.
  • Enter your library card number without spaces to log on.
  • Please disable your fire wall or anti-virus program such as Norton if you have received any error messages or have any difficulties logging on.  You may also call the Public Service Desk at 218-7006 during library hours.
  • You may search Electronic Journal Finder to locate databases that include the journals or magazines you are looking for.
