General Keyword:
Searches words located anywhere a record. It is the
broadest search. For example, a general keyword "texas" would return
all of the titles that contain the word "texas' any where in the record.
DO NOT USE "the", "at", "on", "of" as keyword.
2: Titles starts with:
Searches title in alphabetical listing. For example, searching
"texas" would result in a set of titles that begins with the word "texas."
DO NOT USE if you don't know the exact title.

Titles keyword:
Searches words located ONLY in the title. Use when you
don't know the exact title but only remember a few words from the title.
DO NOT USE "the", "at", "on", "of" as keyword.
4: Author (Last, First):
Choose the Author search when you know the name of an author.
Authors may be persons (including co-authors, editors, composers,
performers) or organizations. You must enter the last name first if it
is a person. You may type as much or as little of the name as you
wish.

Subject keyword:
Select this search when you want to find items about a topic. Names
of people, places, and organizations might be searched as well as topics.
DO NOT USE "the", "at", "on", "of" as keyword.
6: Subject A-Z
Searches topic words in alphabetical listing. Because there
are many possible words to use for the same subject, the Library catalog
uses a controlled vocabulary such as Library Congress Subject Heading.
Please use other alternative words or subject keyword or general keyword
if searching Subject A-Z does not retrieve satisfactory results.
7: Dewey Call Number Search
Call Number is a code made of numbers and
letters assigned to each items in the library to indicate its location on
the shelves. Use this search to browse the shelve or verify the
location. Search results are in numerical order.
