You can do a search by
using the
Basic
Search,
Advanced
Search, or
DVD, CD Search forms.
Advanced Search lets you search
by multiple author, title, and subject keywords, and then refine your
search by choosing one or more of these operators: Or, And, Not, or Xor
(exclusive "or", meaning one term or the other only). Advanced search
also lets you define limits and lets you sort your search results by
specific criteria. Doing a

Select a field and enter a
search term in the search box below. If you would like to combine
more than one field, click on the little arrow pointing down and select an
operator (AND, OR, NOT) from the drop-down lists. Select another field and
enter a search term in the search box.

Limit your search
- You may limit your search to: Type of
material, Audience and Language

Sort your searching results
Click on green "Go"
button to perform your search. The Catalog returns a
list of results based on the search criteria you entered.
Keyword searching Tip:
- You can also search for items using a
"wildcard" symbol asterisk *. The wildcard symbol represents a group
of unknown characters in addition to those in your search criteria.
For example: Enter hunt* for an general keyword search, the catalog
displays titles by that have "hunt," "hunting," "hunter,"
"hunters" and so forth in a record.
- Use " " to search a exact
phrase in exact order.
- You may use Boolean word
Or,
And,
Not to combine keywords.
Two keywords without any Boolean words are considered AND. For
example, enter keywords of texas history will retrieve titles contain
Texas AND history.
